Whyteleafe Events

Celebrating together

Whyteleafe Events are a group of volunteers who come together to organise community events, for Whyteleafe residents to celebrate together.

Live now - Luke's Lounge! Our new joint venture with St Luke's church, offering a free weekly event for the local community.

The Whyteleafe events group comes together at moments throughout the year when there is an opportunity for a community event. As well as supporting on the day with the running of the events, volunteers are needed to help to find and book suppliers and engage with local organisations to find sponsors.

Previously we organised celebrations such as the Queen's Platinum Jubilee and the King's Coronation in our village. Our volunteers also helped with the locally run Ukrainian afternoon tea days and weekly Warm Hub cafe afternoons.

Our next whole community event will hopefully take place at Christmas - watch this space.

If you are interested in helping at the next organised event, please contact us.

If you are running any local events, please let us know and we may list your event on our website.

"I've been so proud to lead some of the recent large community events in Whyteleafe. The satisfaction for me, is the sound of enjoyment and seeing the smile on people's faces, as they attend the events."
